Jains insist on having their separate food counters even at others' weddings. It
is really difficult to understand, though they seem to be okay otherwise, what
problem they have in mingling with people?
All the struggles of life are less dependent on circumstances and more on our
state of mind. This is the reason why "a resolute mind" is easily able to conquer
even the toughest of the problems.
You know yourself by conscious mind, whereas the roots of all your negativities
lie in your subconscious and unconscious mind. Hence, without knowing your
subconscious and unconscious mind, you cannot move even a step towards
success in life.
The biggest trick that we, the religious gurus have played is; the ones who came
to destroy us, we placed them only as gods before you. Now say, how could our
shutters ever be pulled down?
The refined form of "human" body, mind, culture and consciousness that we
witness today is the result of countless unsuccessful efforts spanning over millions
of years. We cannot afford to waste such a precious life only on education,
marriage, children, chasing wealth and pangs of old age.
What can be said of the human brilliancy? Every day, it comes up with hundreds
of schemes to bring upon its own destruction.
Can't you keep the soil of your mind firm? Yes you can, if you shift your focus
from the pains and pleasures of life to your "being" and keep it steadfast there.
The way you laugh at others when you see them suffer for their mistakes, why
don't you laugh at yourself also when you are paying for your foolishness? If you
learn this, all your miseries will immediately be 'dispelled'.
Your mind functions like a computer. It is only you, who has the authority to enter
or delete the data from it. But giving this right to others, you have corrupted the
computer of your mind.
Agreed, there cannot be anything in this world more encouraging and exciting
than success. But success is achieved only by those, who refuse to relent on
their efforts even in trying times.
