Deeds/ Karma
If something is considered right at a particular place at a particular time, the
same thing is rendered useless with the change of place and time. In that case,
of what relevance is the list of good and bad deeds that we are working upon?

Only two kinds of deeds can be termed auspicious; one, wherein you get the
pleasure but not at the cost of others. (Mind here, it does not include the imaginary
or ego-driven losses) and second, the task, which if completed benefits millions
of people.

The value of human life lies in doing your "karma" and as long as we are alive,
there is absolutely no question of shirking from your duties and responsibilities.
Hence, escaping karma and escaping life, both are essentially the same.

Since we have taken human birth, doing our karma is the only ''worship''
and honouring duties and responsibilities, the only "meditation". Separately
worshiping or meditation is performed by those, who have turned their back on
duties.

'Do your karma without worrying about the fruits of your action.' This is the most
wonderful shloka recited by the most intelligent man of this world "Krishna",
in the most unique granth the "Bhagavad Gita". The irony is, all our worships,
rituals, fasting, vastu, astrology are the acts performed with the expectations of
desired results.

I would say harbouring negativities and even the acts driven by such emotions
are not wrong but what is wrong is, because of them your life gets filled with
sorrows and failures.

No matter how adverse the circumstances are, never step back when it comes
to "performing your duties" or honouring your responsibilities. If the body wears
out, fuel it with the energy of the mind; if the mind also gets exhausted, pull it
through with the energy of the soul... But no matter what...finish the task taken
in hand.

Whatever you are at present, is nothing but the result of sum total of your actions
in this birth till now. Meaning, had you been acting with awareness right from
childhood, you would have been something different today. It also means that
even now if you become aware and consciously perform your actions in future...
certainly, you can become what you really want to.

Do you know the difference between 'doing' and 'happening'? Whatever that
you have to do out of compulsion, shows your lack of power and slavery, and
whatever that simply ''happens'' by you is actually the time when you are really
alive.

The philosophy of "Karma" and "Destiny" are two parallel lines...which have
never met, nor can they ever meet.
