If you wish to experience the ego of having done something great in life, then
you will have to do away with all those small petty egos you tend to carry day in
and day out.
What amount of "truth" are you living in can be gauged from the way you perceive
the good-bad events happening with you, and how much of it you attribute to
yourself and how much to others?
"Act without expectations"...what Krishna said is cent percent true. All he is
saying is, whatever you do should generate nothing but happiness. As the action
joyously performed is the only act for which the by-product is also joy...and that
too instantly, hand-in-hand.
Life is only the present. And in the present, neither there is room for memories of
the past nor worries of the future. The root cause of all the miseries of life is the
effort to accommodate the past or future in the present.
Bible, Quran and Vedas have been proven wrong on many instances. It is any
day better to devote the precious human life to the cause of humanity living life
to the fullest, rather than sacrificing it on their altar.
Undertaking many tasks at a time distorts the quality of all the tasks. Finishing
them one by one, you can bring each one to fruition.
Have you ever thought; is there any difference between respect and insult?
Respect is what the other gives you and insult is what the other tries to snatch
from you. Thus in both cases, the 'doer'- is the other only...how does it matter to
you?
It is not that the world has deteriorated today. You perceive the world as you are.
The world has been the same from the very beginning; neither has there been
a virtuous age (Dharma yuga) nor a sin age (Papi yuga). Here, everything has
always been dependent on an individual's perspective with which he looks at it.
If you have full confidence in your personality, the respect and insults of others
will have no effect on you.
The marathon for money is so prevalent in the world that in order to sell arms
and amunitions, some nations do not let the clouds of war disperse from the
world.
