Here at the most what you can become is, as your nature moulds you in the
process of life. Yes, in an effort to become something else, you can always get
ruined. So, as long as possible please do not try to tamper with your nature.
Our energy level decides which state of mind we will live in. More the energy
accumulated in us...deeper the state of mind we begin to dwell in.
How strange are we? We don't have claws like a tiger, yet we growl at others,
don't have venom like snakes, yet harbour animosities; don't have wings like
birds, still keep flying in the fantasy world. When you do not possess any human
quality, how will you achieve success in life?
Peace, happiness, satisfaction, compassion, freedom, concentration, etc. are the
qualities which lead you to those intrinsic powers lying deep within your mind...
from where the foundation of you becoming a "historical figure" gets laid.
Anger, worries, fear, worship, insecurity, jealousy and partiality drag you to
such darker recesses of the mind from where even a blind person seems clear-
sighted. When you have lost the sense to see things in their right perspective,
how could you get anything but failure in life?
Believing life to be of 60 years, we live our entire life considering it to be "One"
unit. This is the reason, why memories of the past and fear of the future keep
haunting us. Whereas in reality, life is the culmination of billions of moments put
together. Hence, each moment - a new moment. And when each moment is a
new moment... then which past and whose future?
The more you co-operate with mind, the more it will co-operate with you. You
cannot push your mind against its will. It is only due to the teachings of compelling
the mind to function in a certain manner that human being has become so pervert.
The one who co-operates with his mind, always attains huge success in life.
It is still in the hands of psychology to free the person from his 'innermost pains
and miseries' that he endures at deeper level; but it is not in anyone's hand to
help him eliminate his ego-driven sorrows. This is where no one else, but only
he can help himself.
Other than our 'mind', what is it that we have, which we can call our own?
Everything else is gifted by nature and made usable by science. At the same
time, if you talk of joy of mind, it lies in "art". But then it is difficult to understand
that in this process, where do we feel the need for these 'so-called religions'?
The root cause of all the sorrows of life is desire. Desire arises by looking at
things around you. Meaning, the one who keeps his eyes fixed only on himself,
will never be unhappy.
